Mission Waco serves individuals and families in our community who are facing poverty, homelessness and other difficult circumstances. Through Christ-centered programs, practical resources and meaningful relationships, they walk alongside people with compassion and dignity while helping create opportunities for hope and lasting change. At the heart of their work is a desire to meet real needs, treat every person with dignity and invite churches and individuals across Waco to be involved in serving their neighbors.
Renew Church partners with Mission Waco in several ways to serve people right here in our community.
One of our largest local missions investments is Creekside Community Village, Mission Waco’s community of permanent supportive housing for people experiencing chronic homelessness. Renew has helped build homes at Creekside, providing more than a structure — each home gives someone a safe, stable place to call their own.
Our students also serve with Mission Waco through Reach Weekend, spending a weekend serving throughout our city. Through hands-on projects and time spent with local ministries, students learn more about the needs in Waco and what it looks like to serve their neighbors in practical ways.
