LOCAL OUTREACH PARTNERSHIP

The Mentoring Alliance

Make an extraordinary difference in a student's life through a consistent, Christ-centered mentoring relationship.

What is The Mentoring Alliance?

The Mentoring Alliance connects caring adults with students in Waco ISD through consistent, one-on-one mentoring relationships on local school campuses. By simply showing up each week, mentors encourage, support and invest in students, helping them know they are seen, valued and loved.

As a Christ-centered organization, The Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of children and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. Their desire is to see every child develop vibrant faith, academic success and emotional resilience through meaningful relationships with trusted mentors.

Renew Church is honored to partner with The Mentoring Alliance through its Mentor Connect program, serving students at Parkdale Elementary and Tennyson Middle School. Our mentors meet with students during the school day, building consistent relationships that point them toward the hope and love of Christ.

Mentoring is about more than helping a student succeed in school. A caring, Christ-centered relationship can have a lasting impact on a child's life, their family, our community and even the mentor. By faithfully showing up, listening and encouraging, ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference.
