Each November, our we commit to Finish Strong together—a time to look ahead with faith and unite in generosity to bring God’s vision to life.
Finish Strong is our annual season of year-end giving beyond regular tithes and offerings. It’s an opportunity to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to invest in His work through Renew—supporting ministries and initiatives that strengthen our church and expand our impact in the year ahead.

Our 2025 Finish Strong Goal
This year, our goal is to raise $500,000 beyond our regular giving to support the work we see in Renew's immediate future. As our staff and board have prayed together, we believe He has made it clear where He’s leading us next—and we hope the ministries below inspire you as much as they energize us.

Internationally: Expand the Gospel in Peru
Our Partnership in Peru
For more than 20 years, Renew has partnered with Viña Del Rey (Vineyard of the King) in Chincha, Peru—a network of churches and schools transforming their community through faith, education, and compassion. What began as a friendship between Pastor Wayne Williams and Pastor Gerardo Guzman has become a lasting partnership built on shared mission, trust and love for God’s people.
Over the years, hundreds from Renew have served alongside Viña Del Rey through medical, dental, and optical clinics, construction projects, and English language instruction. Together, we’ve helped meet both physical and spiritual needs while building friendships that span generations.
What's Next
This year, we’re continuing to invest in the work God is doing in Peru. Our goal is to equip local leaders, strengthen churches and schools, and expand community outreach—ensuring that families have ongoing opportunities to learn, grow, and experience the hope of Jesus.

Locally: Restore Hope through Housing
Serving Our City
Renew is passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom flourish in our city—through worship, service, and compassion. One way we live out that calling is by partnering with Mission Waco in the development of Creekside Community Village, a transformative neighborhood providing permanent, supportive housing for residents coming out of homelessness.
Creekside will ultimately include more than 300 homes, combining affordable housing with wrap-around care through Mission Waco’s established programs and partners. Renew has already funded four homes, each representing dignity, stability, and a new beginning for our neighbors.
What's Next
This year, we’re committing to fund two additional homes at $50,000 each. These homes will help expand a healthy, mixed-income community—where 20% of residents, called “Missionals,” intentionally live alongside those rebuilding their lives, creating authentic, life-giving connection.

The project includes updated equipment, improved layout, and a refreshed design that reflects the beauty and excellence of the rest of our campus—creating a place where ministry and community can flourish for years to come.

How to Give
The Red Envelope
You should have already received a Red Envelope in the mail—our simple, tangible way to participate in Finish Strong. If you didn’t receive one, extra are available in the Worship Center and foyer throughout November.
Take your envelope home, pray over it, and ask how God is leading you to give. When you’re ready, return it during any Sunday service this month by dropping it in the giving boxes around campus.
